Stephanie Pokowitz

Controller

Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.”

- Charles R. Swindoll

Stephanie’s career in accounting spans over two decades, starting with five years in audit at Williams Benator & Libby CPA’s and four years in tax at Dauble & Associates. It was during that timeframe that she met her husband, marking the beginning of both her professional journey and her family life.

With the flexibility to manage work and family, she transitioned to contract Controller roles across various industries when her son started kindergarten in 2004. In 2017, Stephanie joined Summit full-time, drawn by the camaraderie with co-founders Stan and Warren and a culture that mirrored her work-life balance ethos. As Summit’s Controller and a key leader, she’s been instrumental in the company’s growth and thrives in its energetic environment.

Outside the office, Stephanie is an outdoor enthusiast, hiking regularly in the North GA/NC/TN mountains and enjoying college football, especially UGA Dawgs games.

She maintains a vibrant social life with a group of friends, engaging in activities like book clubs, trivia nights, and travel. Central to her life are her husband Robert and son Stephen, with whom she cherishes the evolving family bond.
